It seems like most bad relationships, both people realize that it isn't what either one wants. You know you want to leave, but actually leaving seems like an insurmountable obstacle. So what do we do? We end up making the other person miserable, in hopes that they will actually leave. Because you don't have the balls to leave yourself.
